Last night I watched a movie about blackjack and counting cards called 21, starring Kevin Spacey. Not great, but good enough to watch. I like gambling and gambling/casino type movies.

I am ashamed to say that due to the fact that I literally had nothing else to do I sat and watched Disaster Movie.

Without a doubt the worst movie I have ever seen!!! Did not make me smile once let alone laugh. The guys who made this shoud never be allowed to work again.

Dark Knight i keep watching this film the acting is good, the action great and Heath Ledger steals the show.
The only thing that cheesed me off a bit with this film was how Christian Bales voice gets gruffer and gruffer as the fim goes on.

Lords of Dogtown (2005)

- Great movie.
All the actors did a good job but Heath Ledger was the king.
Chech out also America Ferrera´s short but memorable pre- Ugly Betty role as Thunder Monkey [Big Grin]

Lords of Dogtown is such a great movie! I initially watched it because of Johnny Knoxville's small role. I even bought the soundtrack.

Bully (2001)

- Wow! This was something else.
Very strong flick based on a true story, directed by Larry Clark.
Lots of nudity, violence and dirty words in this one.

Couple over the past 2 days...

The Devil Wears Prada - like an adult Princess Diaries - Anne Hathaway gets a makeover, and before that nobody could see she was attractive. As if.....

Horton Hears A Hoo - don't bother, it could have been funny, but it's like they couldn't care about the viewers.

I just came home from seeing The Reader starring Kate Winslet and Ralph Fiennes.

7/10

Kate Winslet was brilliant, as usual. I really hope the Academy acknowledges her with an overdue statue next Sunday night.

- This was decent relationship drama. Nothing special.
The actors did a good job.

'The Host' is an entertaining, South Korean monster movie; the creature is a bit like that Rancor pit monster in 'Return Of The Jedi'. Better than 'Cloverfield', 'The Host' also employs satire to criticise U.S. foreign policy; particularly how South Korea is used against North Korea. Modern take on monster movies like Toho's 'Godzilla' or 'Q: The Winged Serpent'. Worth seeing.

Saw Boogeyman 3. It was actually pretty good. I think the Boogeyman series is one of the few where both sequels were better than the original.
