"Mad Dog Time", from 1996.

Great cast: Richard Dreyfuss, Jeff Goldblum, Diane Lane, Gabriel Byrne, Burt Reynolds, Paul Anka, Angie Everhart, Kyle Maclachlan, Regory Hines, Ellen Barkin, Rob Reiner, and Billy Idol.

But a pointless and confusing piece of crap! Great talent wasted!

Only the Lonely (1991)

Never seen it before and i wonder why.
This was a good romantic comedy, excellent story and screenplay from Chris Columbus.
John Candy, Ally Sheedy, Maureen O'Hara, Anthony Quinn and James Belushi were all good.

I love this movie.

It's a classic.

"She thought that brown cows squirted chocolate milk".

John Hughes rules!

Love Kills (1991)

This was a decent made-for-tv thriller directed by Brian Grant.
What makes this interesting then? Well it brings Lenny von Dohlen and Virginia Madsen,
the dynamic duo from Electric Dreams (1984), back together.
The other stars are Erich Anderson, Jim Metzler, Kate Hodge and Michael Flynn.

Money, greed and murder plus semihot Dohlen/Madsen love scene.

Watched 1995's "Assassins" starring Sylvester Stallone, Antonio Banderas and Julianne Moore on the Ion Network. Needless to say, this wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

Prey of the Jaguar (1996)

Maxwell Caulfield as a superhero? Well, sort of.

"When his wife and son are brutally murdered by a fugitive drug lord that he helped put behind bars,
former Special Ops agent Derek Leigh vows to avenge their deaths.
After mastering lethal fighting skills at the hands of a martial arts instructor,
he assumes the identity of The Jaguar - a vigilante superhero from his son's drawings -
and with nothing more to lose, sets out on a fierce, one-man blood hunt
to bring the criminals to final justice. (IMDb)

Ultracheesy but entertaining action flick directed by one of the b-meisters, David DeCoteau.
The cast is ok: Maxwell Caulfield, Trevor Goddard, Linda Blair, Randall Bentley, Stacy Keach, Paul Bartel and Fiona Hutchison.

Yes, lots of cheesy acting and action but where´s the eggs and ham?
(read: no nudity or love scenes in this one)

Dangerous Passion (1990)

"A security man goes to work for a sadistic gangster with an alluring wife.
Of course, the wife and the security man immediately hit it off.
After the gangster kills a lawyer in front of the security man,
the wife and the security man go on the run with hitmen on their trail." (IMDb)

This was a decent thriller made for late night television.
The film was directed by Michael Miller (Silent Rage, Class Reunion)
and stars Carl Weathers, Billy Dee Williams, Lonette McKee, Michael Beach and Charles Boswell.

Very typical plot but the cast did a good job.

"Vampire in Brooklyn" (1995) with Eddie Murphy and Angela Bassett. Directed by Wes Craven of all people! Movie is neither scary nor funny as they made it out to be. 1/5.

Midnight's Child (1992)

We have seen evil babysitters before but here comes Au Pair from hell! [Smile]

"Kate and her artist husband are busy working parents. Everything seems to be going fine, going about their daily lives.
Then, Anna, the Swedish Au Pair that Kate hired to care for their daughter, comes into their lives.
She tells Christina odd stories, and dazzles her with gifts and her strange picture book.
Kate is having awful visions, her husband is acting weird, and her daughter is slowly drawing away from her.
Her investigation of Anna only leads to a bizzare Satanic plot. Is there anyone she can trust? (IMDb)

This was average made-for-television thriller starring Marcy Walker, Cotter Smith, Olivia d'Abo and Elisabeth Moss.
d'Abo looks supercute once again and Walker gives a decent performance as the worried mother.

Spike Lee's "Girl 6" from 1996 starring Theresa Randle, Isaiah Washington, Lee, Debi Mazar & Peter Berg. Featured cameos from Madonna, Quentin Tarantino, Halle Berry, Ron Silver, John Turturro & Naomi Campbell.

A struggling actress gets a job as a phone sex operator and becomes hooked on her new occupation. This film is considered to be one of Lee's weaker films (along with "She Hate Me") yet I found it to be decent.

Trojan War (1997)

A decent teen romance flick directed by George huang
and starring Will Friedle, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Marley Shelton.

Few funny moments but nothing new under the sun.
It was great to see Lee Majors as officer Austin and Anthony Michael Hall as the crazy bus driver though.
