I watched:

bits and pieces of Wall-E (haven't seen enough to give an opinion)

The Incredible Hulk (very good)

and Mirrors (one of the better horror movies, I've seen lately.. full of tension and very scary)

Hmmm, Loves a b1tch (Amores Perros). It looks interesting. How graphic are the dog fight scenes?

The scenes themselves aren't horrible but seeing the dogs afterwards is definitely uncomfortable and gruesome. They astually put the disclaimer about no animals being harmed before the movie instead of burying it in the end credits; of course it's in spanish but they're there.

Quantum of Solace. I felt the action scenes were the best part about this film, but it sort of left me wanting more in the end. I prefer Casino Royale but still give Quantum 7 out of 10.....

I'm with ya Motley. It did leave you wanting. It was a good flick but the action scenes were filmed way to "close-up" and you couldn't see all of the action that clearly. Also, they used the "hand-cam" type of filming with some of the scenes being unwatchable. That can be annoying. Overall though I really liked it. I'm a sucker for James Bond movies... [Smile]

I saw Twilight the other night at midnight. I felt oddly out of place. Screaming teenage girls all around us...I was happy to see the movie followed the book decently. Thought the movie could have been better though.

i saw twilight as well.

besides the crew i was with there were only 3 other people in the auditorium, which was excellent. i loved the movie. it definitely followed the book very well. i always found the dialog in the book to be a bit corny (in a good way), so it made us laugh out loud a lot to hear the cheesiness on screen. [Smile]

7/10

I just watched this last night Petty. I thought it was awesome with all that gore. What a complete nut-job that security guard was. I loved the movie.

So, is Twilight a "chick flick" or were guys in the theater too? Not that there's anything wrong with "chick flicks", I was just wondering??? [Cool]

What the heck is P2? Is it in theaters? Horror flick? Gorey?

Its funny...we were talking about Christmas movies on the Horror board at IMDB and someone mentioned P2. i was like "what is THAT?" and they explained it to me and I was like "Oh yeah, I vaguely remember commercials for that." Then we were joking around baout what they would call the sequel if they made one? P22? P 2 TOO? P2 ALSO?
