Dillinger (1991)

Just watched this decent made for tv flick which is based on the actual events
of the pursuit of American bank robber John Dillinger during the 1930s.

The cast was pretty good: Mark Harmon, Will Patton, Bruce Abbott, John Philbin
and the lovely ladies Sherilyn Fenn, Patricia Arquette and Amy Yasbeck.

K2- 1991

 -

decent mountainclimber flick, starring Michael Biehn and Matt Craven. Beautiful landscapes, great cinematography. The story and characters could have been tweaked a bit, but overall it was ok.

Nope, but I just looked it up, and checked out the trailer. It looks interesting.

Another decent film in that same capacity is the german movie North Face from '08.

I think you'll enjoy Touching The Void. It's like a film / documentary but more doco than anything else. It is honestly a good watch. I don't go around endorsing things unless I genuinely think that its good.

Thanks for the heads up about North Face. I'll definitely check it out. I love these kind of movies. They give you a rush. I like Cliffhanger also due to the awesomeness of how the movie sounds through my home theatre system. Sometimes the sound can make a major difference, not enough to redeem a bad movie but a difference all the same.

Rainbow Drive (1990)

This was a decent made-for-cable thriller
starring Peter Weller, Sela Ward, David Caruso and Bruce Weitz.
Weller was solid and i liked the score composed by Tangerine Dream.

RICOCHET- 1991

 -

Pretty cool early 90's action. Not as good as I remembered, though. And strangely, there doesn't seem to be any dvd version with decent picture quality for this movie [Confused]

If im wrong let me know....

His part is not that big, def not big enough to feature on the poster, but he was popular/controversial at the time so that's probably why.

Watched Another Stakeout (1993) yesterday.

It was a pretty decent sequel created by the dynamic duo Badham/Kouf.
Dreyfuss and Estevez are on the loose again and somehow i liked Rosie OŽDonnell too [Eek!]
Madeleine Stowe and Dan Lauria are back from the first movie
and other co-stars include Dennis Farina, Miguel Ferrer and Cathy Moriarty.

If you liked the original, you will most definately like this one too.
