Summer Rental Behind The Scenes

I am actually the "girl" that played Laurie in this movie.......I love the comment about my voice being dubbed during the boat race......I guess Paramount was too cheap to fly me to L.A. to do the voice-overs ( there was only one or two scenes where it was necessary). The voice-overs were done by Kerri Green (who played Jennifer) and as we all know, it is probably the absolute worse job of an adult imitating a child. I was 3 and a half and to tell you the truth, the whole experience was amazing, we lived in St. Petersburg, FL for 4 months and had a blast. Every time I see a Candy flick, it makes me sad, his death was a huge loss to the entertainment industry, but I'm so glad I got to be a part of one of his films, no matter how cheesy and 80's it was!

"Summer Rental" originally garnered a PG-13 rating, before being reduced to PG after cuts were made.
