Wanna see the real life filming location used for "The Slaughtered Lamb" [Interior] in the movie?

These scenes were actually shot at The Black Swan Public House, located at Old Lane in Martyr's Green, Leatherhead, SURREY, UK.

The "Slaughtered Lamb" public house featured in the movie is actually nowhere near its supposed setting in the movie. Crickadarn, near Builth Wells in Wales stood in for the fictional village of "East Proctor". The scene at the outside of the Slaughtered Lamb pub was filmed there, whilst the inside of the pub was filmed at the Black Swan pub at Effingham, Surrey, near London. [Thanks to Sarah Jenkins]

The scenes filmed on the "Moors" were actually filmed at the Brecon Beacons in Wales. Closeups were completed at Windsor Great Park (a big tourist attraction -hardly a scary place!).

Jenny Agutter's flat exterior is opposite the church on Redcliffe Square, nr Earl's Court, London SW10. [Thanks to Amer Rehman]

Jenny Agutter's hospital was the nearby St Stevens in Fulham Road. [Thanks to John B. Latham] BUT Stephan Dicke kindly wrote in to say that he'd got a confirmation of the real location from the personal assistant of John Landis' wife and that the General Hospital stuff - Hallways etc were shot at Putney General Hospital in SW15 and both David's room and Dr. Hirsch's office were at Chiswick Maternity Hospital in W6 (both hospitals are now demolished apparently. Editor's Note: Stephan also very kindly shared another email exchange he had with the Landis's asking for the locations for the bus stop at which David Kessler in a red coat stood after waking up in the zoo and was waiting for the bus and the supermarket where David and Alex Price went shopping after the hospital. John's reply was: Please forgive me, but it's been 40 years since we shot An American Werewolf in London and I have no idea where we filmed the shop. But I'm pretty sure the bus stop was right outside the Zoo (Wells Rise Bus-stop (stop C), Prince Albert Road, London) and shot the same day as all of the zoo scenes. Please stay safe during these troubled times. Wash your hands and Best always - John Landis [Special Thanks to Stephan Dicke]

Most importantly, the locations will have a status that shows whether they are verified correct and by whom. We are working with the actual locations managers or other crew where possible.
