Deleted Scenes

When movies are made, scenes are often left on the cutting room floor.

There was a scene in the bowling alley where Billy Pratt (Mike Hagerty) was hanging out and drinking beers with his Coast Guard buddies. It was supposed to establish his friendship with some Coast Guard guys which is needed later in the movie.

There were 4 actual Coast Guardsman used in the shoot and they were fed real beer which became problematic. By the end of the filming day they were hammered. The 4 guys used were from my unit in Fort Bragg, California U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Point Ledge (WPB 82334).
