The black Ferrari 308 and red Porsche in the films famous chase scene were specially modified vehicles from Custom By Eddie Paul in El Segundo, CA. The cars were modified for high-speed driving with special onboard camera mounts. Customs By Eddie Paul has built special vehicles and props for hundereds of films and TV shows starting with the John Travolta hit Grease, the original Dukes of Hazzard TV show, and more recently, Triple X, The Fast and the Furious, and the Disney-Pixar CARS characters Lightning McQueen, Sally Carrera and Mater.
