Hey all

Anyone remember a c grade sci-fi movie called "Tron". I only ever saw it once and was about 8 at the time but I LOVED it. I'm sure that, compared with today's computer graphics, it would look pretty pathetic but I really enjoyed it. Then again, I was always a bit of a tom boy

Yeah, I remember it. Several of my friends almost flunked out of school because they spent all their time playing the game freshman year instead of going to class. I never had the patience to make it all the way through the movie.

Hi,

Tron is one of my favorite movies. The concept of being able to go "into" a computer really thrilled me at the time. Plus the movie had two of my favorite men actors in it: Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner. David Warner played an evil captain type and did a very good job too, though he always plays a good bad guy (remember the British policeman who roughs up Leo DiCaprio in "Titanic"?).

Yes, the CGI was quite primitive but let's remember that this was 1982!

Last summer I got to meet Cindy Morgan, who played one of the computer scientists, at the MegaFest con in Baltimore. I told her how jealous I was that she got to be in a movie with two such mega-hotties as Jeff Bridges and Bruce Boxleitner LOL.

MAN that was one of the COOLEST looking Arcade games aroung in the '80s. I used to love the black light in it that made your clothes glow when you walked up to it [Smile] [Smile]

This game would be PERFECT for my game room!!

I'm sure it is. Otherwise the movie makers might actually have to think of something original.
Any wonder that the last movie I paid to see was "Titanic"?
