Christopher/Christophe (French) Lambert, who plays the lead role, is severely myopic, which makes him legally blind. He cannot wear contacts and relies on eye glasses in day to day life. However, he has starred in many action movies (e.g. Mortal Kombat) and though he often gets hurt, he still continues to do his own minor stunts.
