Song Trivia The hit song from Summer School, 'Mind Over Matter', was originally recorded by Blondie's Deborah Harry for the soundtrack. Hardcore fans might notice that it's Debbie's voice sampled in places on the track. They used exactly the same backing track for the E.G. Daily version. Due to legal problems with Chrysalis Records the original version could not be used. Fans might be interested to know that the original demo of the song has leaked. -Thanks to Jamiebee
