My Science Project Filming Locations

Alhambra High School in Martinez Ca. and the city of Los Angeles were the two of the filming sites for My Science Project. [Thanks to Shawn Nichols]

It may have also been partly shot in Tucson, AZ as the military base in which Stockwell gets the device looks like Davis-Monthan Airforce Base. At the base is the aircraft bone yard for Air Force planes. [Thanks to Mike Wohlers]

There's more evidence that the film was partly shot in Tucson, Arizona. A few scenes after the kids blow up the power line tower, you see a shot of a electric company truck pull up to the tower, presumably to fix it. On the side of the truck is the Tucson Electric Power logo (the local power company here)! It's a blue rectangle with a white lightning bolt and white lettering. [Thanks to Molly]
