The movie was also shot at The Culver Studios, Culver City, California (USA).
Brewster Building Apartments at 2800 N. Pine Grove Ave, Lakeview, Chicago, IL. This was the location where Andy Barclay and his mum live, also used in many scenes throughout the movie. [Thanks to Dee83]
The police station where Andy's Mother and the detective argue outside is located at Halsted and Addison. It's still there and you can see a gas station across the street which is still there and now a 7-11 or Marathon I Believe. [Thanks to GaryRP]
