coming to blu ray from u.k distributor 88films on june 10th 2013 is 1991's dollman starring tim thomerson and jackie earl haley,it is directed by albert pyun (cyborg,kickboxer 2).

also slated for blu ray release from 88films on march 18th 2013 (later than originally scheduled) is the 1991 horror subspecies and its sequel - bloodstone subspecies 2(1993)followed later on by the release of the 3rd part - bloodlust subspecies 3 on april 15th 2013.

1996's "That Thing You Do!" directed by and co-starring Tom Hanks, as well as Tom Everett Scott and Liv Tyler, arrives on Blu-ray April 2.

coming to blu ray in april from olive films is jeff burr's 1995 horror - night of the scarecrow.

fun little low budget horror this featuring some great special effects and some pretty cool kills.

i own a vhs of this but if the blu ray is reasonably priced i'd definitely consider the upgrade.

coming to blu ray in the u.k on july 8 from 20th century fox are the jim abrahams spoofs - hot shots(1991)and it's 1993 sequel hot shots part deux.

hot shots! part deux(1993).

part deux was originally cut by 54 secs. for its cinema 12 rating in the u.k http://www.movie-censorship.com/report.php?ID=4848051 and then additional cuts were made for its pg rated dvd release.
it is believed this new pg rated blu ray is the uncut version with all previous cuts waived.

coming to blu ray july 16 2013 from sonar entertainment is 1991 sci-fi action thriller - eve of destruction starring the late gregory hines and Renée Soutendijk.

i have this on dvd and it's a lot of fun with gregory hines on the trail of killer military robot eve as played by Renée Soutendijk.

Soutendijk has 2 parts in this,not only does she play the part of the killer robot eve but she also plays the the part of dr eve simmons who created the robot and based its looks on her.

it was directed by brit director duncan gibbins who also directed fire with fire in 1986,he sadly died in a california wildfire back in 1993 aged 41.

killer military robot eve as played by renee soutendijk.

Jennifer 8 (1992) with Andy Garcia and Uma Thurman
Sliver (1993) with Sharon Stone, William Baldwin and Tom Berenger
Snake Eyes (1998) with Nicolas Cage and Gary Sinise

The other addition is Marathon Man (1976) with Dustin Hoffman and Laurence Olivier

Never seen Jennifer 8,I'm going to have to check that out,wanted to watch it for sometime now just never got round to seeing it.

Even though it got absolutely slated by the critics I didn't dislike sliver or come to that snake eyes,that weren't to bad either.

Marathon man is great as long as you haven't got a phobia of visiting the dentist.

I recall that Jennifer 8 is a good thriller.
I own it on VHS and it needs a rewatch definitely.

Sliver and Snake Eyes are good ones, Marathon Man is another film i need to check out again (i remember that evil torture sequence though).

Wing Commander (1999) with Freddie Prinze, Jr. and Matthew Lillard debuts on Blu-ray August 13, 2013 from Anchor Bay Entertainment.

The other addition is The Pick-Up Artist (1987) starring Molly Ringwald and Robert Downey, Jr. which comes out the week before.

I've never seen the pick up artist is any good?

Coming to blu ray in the u.k on 5th august 2013 from universal(so chances are they should be region free for anyone outside the u.k) is jean claude van damme's sudden death and hard target.
