There was the animated made for TV movie from 1971 called The Point where everybody had a head in the shape of a point with the exception of a small boy named Oblio.

The Nilsson song "Me and My Arrow" came from this movie

Was this made in the 70's or 80's? Comedy? Horror? Any other little details will help. When you say "they were being made," do you mean physically constructed or forced to do something?

The boy went on some kind of journey to try and get a point of his own, but in the end he found he didn't need to, for everyone's heads were returned to normal by the end. It aired a couple of times on Nickelodeon in the 80s and 90s, but that's all I can remember offhand.

Don't remember much but i think it has like hippies in it..the bad guy in the movie makes them wear the triangle on there face...i also think it was set in the future.
