I saw this movie about 25 years ago or so, all I can remember is a woman running away from something unknown going to a large house where she thought she would be safe....<forgetful spot>....a scene with her feeling safe taking a shower and the water turns to blood...<forgetful spot>....a scene with her walking down a hallway hearing whispering voices, entering a large office with double doors, voices getting louder ceiling and walls breathing and blood pours from the ceiling....<forgetful spot>....she's being taken away by ambulance. Made late 60's, 70's, maybe very early 80's. Thanks to anyone who can help.

It does not match your exact description but you did say you saw it 25 years ago and this does have a shower scene, a lot of blood and I think she does 'sort' of run to her mums house....

Did it happen to star Christopher Lee? He did a movie in the early '70s called "The House That Dripped Blood." This may be a long shot, but with all that blood dripping it could very well be it.

It's not Carrie, I watch that one every year! Thanks anyway. The House That Dripped Blood sounds interesting, hhmmm? I don't remember anyone who stared in it. I was only 10 or 11 yo at the time. I will look that one up, Thanks.
