I guess it's considered by most people to be one of the more cheesiest pop songs of the 70's, and it's probably true.

But I'm almost ashamed to say that I still like it ever since it came out in 1974.

The song I'm talking about is "Life Is A Rock (But The Radio Rolled Me)" by a studio group called Reunion. The lead vocal was by Joey Levine of the 60's bubblegum group The Ohio Express, who had hits like "Yummy Yummy Yummy (I Got Love In My Tummy").

The song consisted of lyrics of catch-phrases, song titles, albums, groups, and singers, that were popular in the music industry up to that time. I guess the lyrics are similar (in style) to what Billy Joel later did in "We Didn't Start The Fire" 15 years later.

This song was remade by Tracey Ullman in 1984.
