The song "Melissa" is by The Allman Brothers Band. It was recently used in a TV commercial for Cingular/AT&T wireless cell phones.
You can find the song from the group's 1972 album "Eat A Peach".
IMHO, they were the best Southern Rock band ever. (No offense to fans of Lynyrd Skynyrd, .38 Special, Molly Hatchet, Black Oak Arkansas, or ZZ Top!)
