This movie may have only been on TV. It was about this kid who killed a girl, and then when his Mom found out, she made secret passageways in their home to hide him from the police. He remained inside the walls of the home even after his mother died, and then he stalked the new family that moved in to the home. I thought the name of this film was "Weird Harold" or at least the kid's name was that (I could be wrong) but I can't find any info on it.

Bad Ronald is one of the best Made for TV horror movies ever made. Scott Jacoby starred as Ronald. He's both pathetic and terrifying. Kim Hunter plays his mom and she's quite good too.

Buzz Kulik directed this weird little claustrophobic thriller with a sure hand. Most of the movie takes place inside the house and you can absolutely feel Ronald's desent into madness. It's creepy, I tellya! Scott also starred in the incredible TV movie That Certain Summer starring Hal Holbrook and Martin Sheen.

This one's hard to find, but copies of it show up on Ebay periodically. I've worn my VHS copy out!

As for the book, I've tried to buy it but like the book Willard was based on (The Ratman's Chronicles), it's hard to come by and quite expensive.
