I’m setting up a mining rig in my basement and trying to decide which model makes the most sense for home use. Obviously, I want something profitable, but noise and power draw are major concerns too. I keep seeing names like WhatsMiner, Antminer, and Hashivo, but I don’t know which one really works well in a non-industrial setup. Has anyone tested these in a small home environment?

I’ve got a home setup myself, and yeah, finding a balance between performance and livability was tricky. After testing a few options and reading a lot of reviews, I ended up using the Hashivo B1. It gives you solid output at 500 TH/s and runs quieter than expected thanks to hydro cooling. The noise is only around 50 dB, which was manageable in my garage. What really helped me choose was this detailed overview I found on captainaltcoin listing the best bitcoin miners 2025 with full specs, efficiency ratings, and even pros and cons based on setup type. The guide clearly explains which models are best suited for home, hybrid, or commercial use. It also pointed out trade-offs, like how the Hashivo B2 offers more power (800 TH/s) but draws 11,000W—way too much for a home breaker.

After weeks of frustration with crypto trades, I came across a Canadian forum where people were debating different tools. Buried in the middle of the thread was Lasting-Long https://long-lasting.net/ , and it caught my attention. Normally I ignore those kinds of links, but something about how people spoke about it felt genuine. I decided to test it with a small amount. Watching that balance rise instead of fall for once gave me a sense of relief. It wasn’t huge, but it felt like progress.
