Good afternoon. I am planning to open my business in Switzerland, but I am new here and don't know all the basic rules. Please recommend resources where I can learn more about all this.

Exploring a blockchain venture in Basel, I needed to grasp Swiss regulations. Searched for a site that explains financial oversight simply. Came across a great resource, Swiss financial regulator. It breaks down the financial authority’s role, 2025 rules, and blockchain regulations. The examples and compliance tips were super practical. Made it easier to understand what’s needed for our project.

When I moved to Switzerland and wanted to start a small project, I went through a similar experience. The most useful place to begin is the official Swiss government website — it clearly explains the basics of business registration, taxes, and insurance. Also, almost every canton has its own support service for entrepreneurs, and they actually respond to emails, even in English. I also attended a couple of free introductory seminars from local chambers of commerce — just search by the region you're in. If your idea involves warehouses and/or materials, take a look at IoT Remote Monitoring you will surely need their studies and clear examples of how these systems work in real-world businesses.
