A 47 million dollar adaptation of the greatest Sci-fi/fantasy novel ever! Too bad David Lynch was the wrong man for the job when it could have been Ridley Scott who is a huge fan of the books but Lynch turned this into one big expensive mess and a rape of a great book.

I have a gigantic soft spot for this movie, though I can understand why someone who loved the book would hate it. Ridley's vision is something I would've loved to see.

Well it's alright as a Lynch movie but bad as a Dune movie.
