Watched a movie in the early 80,s about a killer who killed one guy by sticking his scarf into a spinning motorcycle tire, another person was killed when he turned out the lights and she dove into an empty swimming pool. I think setting was about kids in high school but can't quite remember. Would love to know name of this movie. Thanks Scott

Maybe it is Massacre At Central High (1976)?

i absolutely remember seeing this movie just by the two scenes you mentioned, but i never would have guessed the title.

even after reading the imdb profile i'm still not sure this is the same movie. i'll have to look for this.

xchazx... I need to take back my quick to agree answer. It was a guy diving into an empty pool in "Massacre at Central High".

I should have known this from the start, but I need Veronica Sawyer to verify my answer because she watched it recently. The movie you seek is

"Happy Birthday To Me"

I haven't watched it in years and I can't find my old VHS tape either. I totally remember the scarf in the motorcycle tire though.

thanks valley. i remember loving "happy birthday to me" when i saw it way back when. and the scarf in the motorcycle scene clearly rang a bell. and i only doubted it was massacre because it was made in '76.

i'll still have to check out massacre though.

The motorcycle death is definitely in "Happy Birthday to Me," but the pool scene is not.

The pool scene is 'Massacre'. Maybe two movies are being confused?
