One night as a kid I had my best friend sleep over. We stayed up way too late drinking Jolt Cola. We ended up watching a horror movie. If I can figure out what movie it was I'll totally trip my buddy out. I looked through the entire movie list here and don't believe I have found it. Many thanks to whomever can figure out what it was.
Here is what I can remember: It was probably aired on USA when Gilbert Godfried hosted, along with all the bikini babes. I miss the old USA network. It was about 1990 when we saw it. I believe it was made in the 80s, possibly as old as the mid 70s.
It was a horror movie with an evil presence.
The movie took place on an island with a mansion and there were several visitors for the weekend. It wasn't a big island, there was a dock for motorboats. It was probably filmed in New England.
I can't remember for sure or not but everyone died except for one girl. Or at least she was the only one to make it out.
I remember one scene where a woman had her lips sewn shut with a needle and thread. It was graphic and my friend couldn't watch, I laughed at him for it. He punched me.
One woman, possibly a houskeeper, was pregnant. I don't think she was one of the main characters.
The ending is what I really remember: The girl who survived the weekend woke up in a hospital bed. A nurse said to her "Mam your baby is fine". This was not the pregnant woman I mentioned earlier, appearently she was now the pregnant one and the movie ended with the line "My Baby?"
