I remember being bullied alot at school so sometimes I'd fake sick days. Staying home in my room when I should be at school and watching Risky Business was awesome. -

I never faked a sick day to stay home to watch a movie, but I have faked a sick day to go see a movie in the theater! I also let my kids miss school and called them out as being sick to go see a movie on its opening day (Pirate's of the Caribbean 3).

I have never faked a sick day, because I'm a bad actor, and cannot convince anyone that I'm sick.

However, in 1977, I cut some college classes to see a movie! It was "Looking For Mr. Goodbar".
