As a whole, which one(s) do you like the best? I would have to choose the Ripleys, who show quite clearly that close and caring families are by no means uninteresting, contrary to what the Hollywood establishment feels is dogma. I would be quite happy to live next door to them (then again, there's no telling how much those big expensive houses in Shermer go for on average in the first place). Chet would also get my vote for best father, not just in this decade but ALL decades. Unlike the morons or insensitive lice they put the screen these days, he openly loves his sons and wants to share life with them, so you know they'll probably be just fine when they have families of their own.

Devolution here,

The Bundy's. Man, I love that show. The Seavers were great too. I mean, some of these shows just thrived because of the family dynamic.
