Hi all,

I just got Thunder Alley (VHS) in the mail. I ordered it from Amazon.com. I must have seen this movie 10 times back in the 80's. It still hasn't come out on DVD yet so I'm going to copy my VHS tape to DVD so I can save the tape.

There are 6 of them left $44.50 to $75.00

The movie is set in the Western US, Tucson, AZ to be exact. It's about a group of friends that start a rock band, one of them get's mixed up in drugs, one falls in love with a great girl, yadda yadda yadda... It's a great 80's movie... [Razz]

You will recognize a few people in this film like Scott McGinnis, Clancy Brown, Leif Garrett, Roger Wilson (Porky's) etc...

I watched it last night and MAN!!! I forgot how great the music is in this movie!!! [Eek!] I starting remembering all of the songs while they were playing... Good story line too! If you haven't seen this movie you really need to.

Is this movie worth getting? I ahve heard of it for years. Jill Schloen, Leif Garrett, it sounds interesting. I think I heard Isis say a while ago it wasn't so good.

I got it because Jill Schoelen is in it. I started watching it, and I thought it was boring...and I fell asleep...I never could bring myself to finish it, so I don't know for sure if I would have liked it or not. I think the subject of the movie seems like it should be cool. But, I honestly can't even remember much about it. I think Leif Garrett's acting stunk.
