I have yet to see this though I've heard Jason Patric is fantastic in it.

I'm not sure if this film is well known but I like it a lot. Jamie Gertz from The Lost Boys is also in it, along with Adrian Pasdar from Near Dark. I prefer the name Solar Babies as it sounds more original. There's also a coll song from Smokey Robinson called 'Love Will Set You Free' when they escape.I need a dvd version though as my vhs is very old.
Charles Durning is also very good as the sympathetic warden.

I love Solar Babies. Not to many people know about it.

My sister and I use to watch it all the time and loved it.

Watched Solar Warriors / Solarbabies (1986).
I think that it was decent post-apocalyptic fantasy/sci-fi flick.

Always nice to see Jami Gertz.

Not on my fav list for some reason. Love the cast, but couldn't totally get into the story. I need to give it another try.
