Universal has announced that they will (finally) be releasing Harry and the Hendersons on DVD on April 24th. It will be a Special Edition DVD, featuring an audio commentary with the director, deleted scenes and featurettes. (why couldn't they give The Wizard this kind of treatment?)

Sweet!!!!!!!!! I really loved this movie as a kid. Looking forward to seeing this again. I can't believe it took this long to get it out.

This is exciting news. My son loves this movie and even cried at the end of it. I cannot wait for it to be available.
