This was a pretty well-known movie that probably came out in the late 70's, or maybe even 1980...but I just can't think of the name of it. It was about a business guy going thru a mid-life crisis. I dont know why but when I heard "cocaine" the first thing that popped into my head was BRIGHT LIGHTS BIG CITY.

Was James Woods in it? I remeber a show with him going through a mid-life crisis and developing a cocaine habbit. I can't remember the name of the movie I'm thinking of.

I just looked up the one I was thinking of and it was called "The Boost." It co-starred Sean Young.

I appreciate your all's help, but it turns out my dad new the name of the movie, & it is called " Middle Age Crazy" (in case anyone wants to check it out). I was wrong about the cocaine part, but I got the white Porsche part right. And it IS an 80's movie after all (just barely)...released in 1980.
