Saw a monster-related movie in 1994 on TV but just can't recall the name and guess what? it has been vexing me for the past few years.
Ok, here's some clues: - Dad, mom & kid went picnic in the wild - Mom got lost (I think) - Mom went into a cave - The monster in the cave kidnapped mom - Kid thought mom died - Kid loves comics - Dad remarried a beautiful woman - Dad wants kid to learn violin - Stepmother hates sound of violin - Kid found out stepmother was a monster - The monster doesn't eat meat but loves to chew bones - Kid seeks help from teen - Teen told kid the name of the monster aka the movie title - Kid found comic about the monster and how to kill it - Comic too expensive - Kid bought comic - Dad got furious 'cos Kid didn't practise violin and only indulge in comic - Dad destroyed comic book - Kid found the shredded piece of comic and learned the way to kill the monster - Teen offers to help - Teens & friends uses hifi to play violin tracks - Hifi set got burst - Monster was about to kill kid - Dad plays violin and kill the monster - Save mom from the cave where the monster kidnapped her
If I'm not mistaken, the movie title starts with the letter "R" and it contains "P", "U" & "Z"... something like "Repuzzie" (incorrect spelling)...
