Im not too sure if its a 80's film but it was a long time ago. ok from what i remember there was a tall black guy that when he touched the back of his neck he shrank, there was also another guy who could shoot electricity out of his hands. i also remember there being a frozen guy in it and they had to keep him cool. It was the 1985 TV-Movie "Misfits Of Science", later turned into a short-lived series. It was one of Courtney Cox's first acting roles after her appearance in the video for Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark".

The pilot movie was officially released on video many years back and sometimes they pop up on e-bay. This is the real deal and not a bootleg.
The tall black guy that would shrink down was also the guy in the Predator Costume and he played Harry on Harry and the Hendersons. He died of pneumonia a while back. Sad story.
I loved the series, but it didn't last long. Johnny, the guy that would shoot electricity, was my favorite character.
Courtney Cox was so good looking in it. I had a super crush on her back then. I remember when she was in Masters Of The Universe.
