OK..I know I'm opening a can of worms with this one because certain people think it's appalling that people can enjoy a movie about abuse and mental illness...
but I gotta!
I just found out this is on dvd now and ordered it.
Everything is just so over the top that Im torn between being dumb-struck and laughing my *** off.

That was a mother from Hades. Another movie out there about evil mothers and grand mothers is Flowers In The Attic.

Funny...I love this movie too, and I just watched it no too long ago.

I like to say ..Yes, Mommie Dearest to my mom and watch her go nuts on me, cause it freaks her out.

I love the house in that movie.

I found out that the real Christina Crawford runs a Bed N Breakfast now.

No more wire Hangers! EVER!!!

Hey I didn't know it was available on DVD, thanks for the info on that.

I still say to this day that I can't believe it was considered the worst film of the year that year. I thought that Faye Dunaway did an excellent job as Joan Crawford. I mean now come on you got to admit that you loved it. She just looked so mean, and it made you glad that she wasn't your mom.

I can relate to having a parent who is a perfectionist but not quite to that extreme.

Big thumbs up on this one!
