I am watching Teen Wolf Too and the character of Styles has been replaced by another actor. I totally think that character replacement doesn't make the sequal as good.

What other sequals have been made they they have replaced another actor with one that was in the original. Now I do not mean someone "like" the character, but the actual character like the one in Teen Wolf Too.

Back to The Future II they changed Marty's girlfriend.
I think in Waxwork II they changed the girlfriend character also.

No Shue, No Foreman...should be no sequel then. [Razz]

I would have to agree that the "Back To The Future" change kinda caught me off guard at first. The first movie was so popular that you were like that isn't Jennifer.

Good topic...I need to do some thinking on it.

What really killed me was the lack of Crispin Glover in BTTF2. I mean, MJF is awesome, and Lea Thompson is obviously Super Awesome, but Crispin really had the best scenes in BTTF.

Crispin got too big for his boots and wanted more money to return for BTTF2, so they wrote him out of it which is why the storyline developed the way it did.

On a similar note, "Tank" in The Matrix also wanted more money than the studio were prepared to give him and apparently he'd been mouthing off online after the first film, so they wrote him out of The Matrix Reloaded.

Devolution here,

The lack of Bill Murray in any of the Meatballs sequels. Not to mention the lack of Jason Hervey in anything after 2.

How about the replacement of Jason in Friday the 13th part 5. What a terrible idea that was.

Claudia Wells was the original Jennifer and I was bummed when they replaced her for some unknown reason. I thought she was totally hot!
