I watched this movie last night and it was okay. I was initially drawn to it because of Jamie Gertz but then found out Amanda Peterson was in it so I thought why not? Kirk Cameron and Christopher Atkins were also in this.

Unfortunately, the weakest aspect of the movie was Kirk. He had to use a southern accent and it just wasn't working. It was hard to disassociate him from Mike Seaver.

Conversely, the best part of the movie was Amanda Peterson. She was great!! She played a girl who had an accident when she was eight and as a result had to use a leg brace and a cane to get around. However, the character was not looking for sympathy and didn't come off as all pathetic and sad. Amanda played it perfect! Christopher Atkins's character fell in love with her and helped her to let go of some of her hangups.

Jamie was likable in the movie but I would have liked to see a little more closeness between her and Kirk. Overall, it wasn't bad. I'm glad I checked it out. What did you guys think? [Razz]

I never heard of it, but it sounds good.

Funny that Amanda Peterson and Christopher Atkins were in another movie together other than Fatal Charm.

Some of the description of this movie reminds of a movie with Donna Wilkes...only it is scary...it is called Blood Song-and I really like it, and she has leg braces too, because her Dad injured her somehow in a drunk driving accident, but it really didn't change her character in the movie that much, she had a boyfriend and friends, and was a great student. Her Dad was mean to her throughout the movie, which made you mad watching it, knowing he did that to her, and she was a good kid, and he kind of was mean because of the guilt he had, but it wasn't her fault. Frankie Avalon plays the killer in this movie. I like Donna Wilkes, so I totally recommend it, I have never seen anyone ever mention it on here before yet either.

Cindy, I think I remember this movie. Were Kirk & Jamie on a debate team. This movie was promising to start, but was never able to keep my interest.

Good Point Isis about Fatal Charm...strange that they made two movies together that were so different.

Yeah Valley, I tend to agree with you. It starts out all interesting but then there's a bunch of sub-plots and it gets a little off track. Also, it was about a college debate team.

I thought the same thing Isis about Amanda and Christopher Atkins...they went on to make the "classic" Fatal Charm...hahaha! I wonder where that movie is now. We keep passing it along [Wink] !
