After that really bad No Doubt cover of the Talk Talk song it was good to hear a cover versioan of the Tears For Fears song "Mad World".

I don`t mind covers if the people doing it change the style and not just copy the original(like No Doubt have done). I am not sure who sings it but they have done a really good different version.

Think its the first cover version I have heard that I might like more then the original.

Is that the version they play in the film Donnie Darko? that's a really good cover (for once).

Yes, it's on the Donnie Darko soundtrack. I think he was friends with the producers or something. A good cover for once. been a big TFF's fan for a while. I even have the pre-TFF's band the Graduate on Vinyl. Sounds way different, like the Jam or something.

I have to agree. One of the few covers that eclipses the original. It's done by Gary Jules and his website's here .
