Does anyone remember a UK tv series called Metal Mickey. It starred Gary Shail and others...it was about a robot that lived with a family. Does anyone else recall this one???

Well it wasn't before my time...

I used to love watching Metal Mickey - even then there was no concept of 'high tech' with him, he was basicaly a dustbin with arms and a voice like Tweaky from Buck Rodgers. Little known fact - the series was created, written, and directed by Michael Dolenz - the same Micky Dolenz from The Monkees.

Yes I knew that as well. I must have seen it on one of those I-love-the-80's telly programs. Although, wasn't that 70's?
