What is your opinion on the movie? Do you like the book or movie better? Who is your favorite actor/character in the movie? Mine is Johnny (Ralph Macchio). [Big Grin]

[Smile] hello there.I remember reading the book back in high school and watching the movie after in class.I really enjoyed reading the book but loved the movie. I liked all the great actors but my absolute favorite is Matt Dillon.I had the hots for him bigtime. [Big Grin] What a babe. I wish he would star in some new movies. The last good movie he did was "Singles."He looked even better with that long hair. If you havn't had the oppertunity to see that movie you should really check it out."Stay Gold"

I loved the book and the movie was adapted so well, the really did a good job! It was a great cast, lots of talent and a great script. leopardpantsmoodlipstick, have you seen Deuces Wild? It came out in 2002 and is now on DVD. Matt Dillion is like a mafia boss in the film. He still looks good, almost the same. He was also in Theres Something About Mary(1998), but he looks awful! lol, I know he was supposed too but c'mon, those teeth eewwww! Here are some other recent films he has been in: City Of Ghosts (2002), One Night At Mcools (2001), I think both of these can be found on DVD.
As for favorite character from The Outsiders, I like C. Thomas Howell and Ralph Macchio (ponyboy and johnny). It's really hard to choose though, it was such a great film!

I read The Outsiders in school but didn't watch the movie until a few years later. My favorite character was Darryl (Patrick Swayze.)
I liked his strong and serious personality, and his bod wasn't too bad either! [Big Grin]
