The guys we love are done.
Sly, van damme, Arnold, and it's very sad but who's carrying the torch now? Can the actors today replace the old greats? We did a video to see if can replace them. Go ahead and check it out

I think Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, and Vin Diesel are decent enough action stars. It's just that everyone has
a soft spot for the stars and movies of their own childhood, but i think that will be the same for today's kids.
In twenty years they will look at Johnson and Statham much in the same way as i look at Arnie, Sly, Chuck, or Charlie.

By the way, a book on this subject was published last year.. Check it out :

Coolest action hero for the 80s: Chow Yun-Fat. Watch the trailer from Hard-Boiled, the John Woo masterpiece, and tell me that he isn't the coolest guy around. Even when he's just loading a shotgun, you can't take your eyes off of him. Enjoy.

I´m also tempted by the book, Johnny you evil you [Big Grin]

Hard Boiled is a stone cold classic and Chow Yun-Fat was my biggest hero during the HK craze back in the early 90s.

nobody can replace them at all
the worst actors we got this gen are:
D.Johnson, Vin Diesel..most overrated and ****ty movies they got..and terrible acting specially Vin

i just keep watching 80's action movies over and over ..BEST
