I am trying to remember the title of a movie from the 1980s. The scene I recall is a guy getting chased in some sort of lab or building where all the doors entries are controlled by retinal eye scan or thermal palm scans. I remember he is being chased and in order to gain entry to get away he picks up the body of a dead guard and holds his hand and eye to the scanner in order to open the door. I know its not much to go on but am hoping someone will recall this movie. Anyone??

wesley snipes with his eyeball gobstopper .
Sounds a bit like a scene from demolition man when wesley snipes escapes from maximum security prison using someone else's eyeball for a door that can only be accessed through the use of retinal scan .
That's 90s though,1993 to be precise I doubt very much if its that.

Isn't there such a scene in The Running Man or Total Recall or something.. no ?
