I know its not the best topic but I am looking for actors/actresses that had a part in a movie(not the lead)and we thought they might go on to bigger things but made a film or 2 after, then basically disappeared. Dolph Lundgren is 1 example I can think of. After busting out in Rocky whatever, made some lead appearances then vanished. Thanks for the responses if there are any. Goodday

How about Jerry Levine, best known for his role as "Stiles" in Teen Wolf. Even though he did have a couple more minor roles in movies like "Iron Eagle" & "Born on the 4th of July", they were nowhere near as memorable as his role in Teen Wolf. And I don't recall seeing him in anything else since.

Don't forget Christopher Atkins, who's career more or less died off after The Blue Lagoon and the disaster that was A Night in Heaven.

Aileen Quinn - After "Annie" came out, she then appeared in some low-budget and made-for-TV projects and stopped acting just after she reached her teens.

Michael Schoeffling......Sixteen Candles, Vision Quest...(two great movies!) and then he more or less disappeared. I thought he was the next teenage leading man type but oh well....

Kerri Green who played in The Goonies (1985) and Lucas (1986).
She was very good in both of these movies.

William Ostrander !

He played Buddy Repperton in John Carpenter's Christine (1983), but not really much after that.
Imdb says he had a small part in David Lynch's Mulholland Drive though.

My first contribution to this thread is:

 -

  Billy Jacoby

 -

Actually, Billy has a fairly decent resume for his acting career, but after dazzling us in "Just One of the Guys" and following it up with a nice run on "Parker Lewis Can't Lose".. Billy has never able to find the magic of Buddy again for some reason.

When I watch "Just One of the Guys" .. Billy is just fantastic and I often sit there wondering why he didn't get more opportunities to showcase his skills.

Hey Ronnie.. where's Quentin Tarantino at on this guy?  ha
