Lately I have been trying to find this movie about a sherriff in modern times discovering a ghost town and finding the dead brought back to life. I remember watching it in the late 80's and It was a B-Movie - that's all I remember. Help!

I think the film you are thinking of is a 1988 film known as "Ghost Town".. check it out on imdb to make sure, but I'm almost positive as I've seen this one a lot. The only discrepancy I see though, is that I believe the fella in the movie was a deputy and not a sheriff.
