I tagged this on the end of the FAQ thread, but I'm not sure that was the correct place, so I'm creating a new topic. I apologize if that's improper etiquette.
I'm looking for the title of a movie I saw on cable in the early- to mid-80's. I don't remember much about it, except one scene.
There's a girl who comes out on her balcony in the morning to stretch. She's wearing a white leotard-type item made of some lacy material. There's a boy in the building across from her watching "intently" out his window. There's also a man painting the boy's building who gets distracted and winds up painting the boy's face.
It seems like there's a French feeling to the movie, but I can't remember if it's just the soundtrack or what. I don't *think* everything was spoken in French, but I'm not sure.
I think the plot mainly centers around the girl, but I don't remember much else. I'm not even certain it was released in the 80's, but I'm certain it was the 80's when I was watching it.
Does this ring any bells for anyone? I hope it's not too easy, or I'll feel stupid for not being able to find it myself. I've searched about everywhere I know to search, but I've had no luck.
