I recently built an XMBC HTPC, and I've been adding all my movies and TV shows to it. I realized I have a bunch of 80's shows! Do you guys have any complete series?

V: Original Miniseries, Final Battle, TV series
Dukes of Hazzard
Moonlighting
Simpsons (season 1-4)
Airwolf
A-Team
MacGyver
Max Headroom
Sledge Hammer!
Star Trek: TNG (and TOS)
Knight Rider
Tales of the Gold Monkey
Perfect Strangers
Greatest American Hero

I also have a few from the 70's and 90's. What have you got?

Looks like you have quite a collection goresnet.
Knight Rider would be pretty sweet.
I do have several seasons of TV shows on DVD but I only have 2 complete sets.
They are
TAXI and COLUMBO.

Knight Rider is an awesome box set. Literally, the box is awesome! There's a button that plays the theme song with the scrolling lights!

I have the first two seasons of the "Hill Street Blues" series on DVD. To my knowledge, they haven't made one for later seasons.

You guys have mentioned some great, forgotten shows: The Hitchhiker, Max Headroom, Sledge Hammer, Crime Story, and the hilarious Get a Life. I don't think that I've ever laughed as hard as I did with some episodes of Chris Elliott/Adam Rifkin's insane classic. I think that my two favorite episodes were the one with Spewy the vomitting alien that Elliott and Brian Doyle-Murray befriend and the one called "Tool Belt Wars" where Elliot falls in with a bad crowd, construction workers: "They regaled me with stories of late trailer payments, one-eyed hookers...and the Tool Belt Wars." Funniest American TV show of the 90s. [Smile]

I've been collecting more series. The A-Team and Perfect Strangers stand out as favorites. Some great collections there! I had stopped buying dad's too, but for most shows it's the only way to have them. Wish they'd all get a remaster for blu ray. Love my 80's, but love high def too!

I need to get some Perfect Strangers. I enjoyed that show as a kid. That theme song was really amazing.

I thought of some others I have:

Who's The Boss
Charles In Charge
Square Pegs
Cheers
Alf

Not all are complete, however.

yeah Stiggs, i agree...Perfect Strangers was good back then and it still is one of the best Sitcom ever made. And i must say that Theme songs were better back in the 80´s and 90´s than they are today. Let me recommened another sitcom to you, that are one of the best... My Two Dads.

I forgot about that one - thanks! I did watch it quite a few times as a youngster and liked it.
