I am probably slow on hearing newer music....a song has usually been around a long time before I ever get around to hearing it...but I heard this song recently...and I like it in parts of it....it has that sound in it that is in that Nelly Furtado song....that sounds like someone with the hiccups-so I don't like that part...but for a newer song...I don't mind it that badly. I have listened to it a few times on you tube...after awhile it started to get on my nerves...I wondered what anyone else thought of it??

It is a really good song, it was a big Number 1 hit here last summer (xmas time).

I have been searching out Timbaland...I didn't know if that was a person, a band...or what...and apparently it's 1 guy...and he's the one making all the hiccup sounds in the background...and then he gets other artists to do all the singing....that's some smart thinking. Yeah Isis, Timbaland has been around for years. He started as a music producer and was responsible for alot of hits for artists like Aaliyah, Missy Elliot and a whole bunch of other R&B and Hip-Hop artists. He is huge in that regard.
This is his second album. He had one out in the late 90's but really made a household name for himself after working with Nelly Furtado and Justin Timberlake. "Apologize" is a good song. I liked it instantly and the "hiccups" don't bother me at all. Glad to hear you're listening to some new tunes !
