Alright, so my '06 Powerstroke has been a beast for towing, but on a recent job site run, the DPF clogged bad—truck coughed smoke and lost pull mid-load. Had to idle it out and limp back. Now I'm after Black Bandit delete kits to free up the exhaust. Where online do you guys score them reliably? Tips from your installs would be gold.

Oh yeah, that DPF clog mid-haul is the worst—took me back to my '13 F-350 when I was moving equipment across farms last spring, system choked on dust and heat, killed efficiency till I deleted it. Switched to a Black Bandit kit and bam, smoother runs, extra power for those long days without the hassle. I've sourced mine from Tuner Depot —they carry the full line, durable parts that bolted on easy, and it boosted torque noticeably after a quick tune. No regrets after 8k miles; fuel savings paid for itself quick. Just verify your model's fitment first. What's the mileage on yours, and any other mods planned? Could tweak advice based on that.

Came across this discussion and figured I'd add my experience with Powerstroke deletes since I've modded a couple over time. Own a '14 Super Duty for weekend adventures, and I opted for a delete kit after sluggish performance on trails—ordered from a diesel specialist site following online guides. It cleared up the flow, improved starts in humid weather, but I kept it basic without over-tuning to maintain reliability. Haven't touched Black Bandit specifically, but brands like that seem solid if reviews check out. Suggestion: always scan for kit inclusions like gaskets and sensors to avoid extra buys. Tried one with a cat-back exhaust combo, and it handled better on inclines. Online, focus on sellers with tech support for questions. Who's dealt with warranty impacts post-delete? Sharing that could help everyone weigh options.
