Devolution here,

So last night we watched Ed Helms in Cedar Rapids. This movie had a ton of things that I thought were great about it. I think that Ed Helms is the next great "Let's feel bad for him" actor. I just hope that he eventually gets out of that role, I think that he does that in everything.

But, without giving away everything, the movie starts off with almost a scary bang. Gross, pretty gross.

His idol at work dies by going the INXS route. Sorry. He gets the job and is going to an insurance meeting in Cedar Rapids (Hey that's the name of the movie).

John C. Reilly plays a great jerk, I think Will Ferrell over the years has really helped him go over the top all the time. Anne Heche looks like she has had some work done, but plays a good role as the woman that is too good looking to be in insurance.

The story is good as again the media didn't make the ads that went into this movie as good as they could be. This movie has a few "What is he about to do?" moments, which, as long as the whole movie isn't like that (like Dinner for Schmucks)
but all in all, I found myself happy that I rented it.

Check it out.

Hey Devo, I just finished watching Cedar Rapids. It was a great movie- funny, heartwarming and a few laugh-out-loud moments too. I especially loved when Tim's roommate Ron kept talking about his love for the Wire (he was one of the stars of The Wire for those who did not know).
