We’re watching Knight Rider. This episode deals with illegal dumping of toxic waste; acid in barrels. How many times was this plot used?! Lol. I remember it was part of Turner & Hootch.

Armed and Dangerous had a toxic waste scene but I cant remember how much of it was really involved in the plot.

Men at Work had toxic waste in the plot.(1990)

What about a cop that doesn't listen to his boss and does things his own way? That's definitly been done.

Do you remember a Canadian show called "The Danger Bay"? It was heavily focused on environmental issues. I think it fits the bill perfectly.
I loved that show and it turns out it's main theme is still current. We didn't do much for the environment.

I remember the Disney Channel running it back to back with fellow Canadian import The Edison Twins frequently back in the day.

Jakey, I think every cop movie in the 80’s involved a cop not listening to his boss! Ha ha ha!

Yeah, a very common plot in the 80's and it all came to a head in 1990 when they made the Captain Planet cartoon.
