I have always loved the song "Burnin for You" by Blue Oyster Cult...my son and my mom both love it too. We had VH-1 Classics on today, and they played the video...it was so weird...I realized I had never seen it, and that I had no clue what Blue Oyster Cult looked like, then after seeing the video...it gave me a whole different image of the song...I wish I hadn't seen the video...has any other song ever done that to anyone else?

BOC will never win any beauty contests that's for sure. I always liked the song too and have seen the video quite a few times.

I have a few BOC records, what did they call them back then? Thinking man's heavy metal or something. Yeah, it's funny how some 70's bands could translate beautifully to the video/MTV age like ZZtop, Queen, Heart, while some like BOC just didn't translate well. Just a schlocky look to them. When I think of some of these groups, Steppenwolf's 80's "comeback" video always seems to spring to my mind.
