I use to love them in the 80's.

This was one of my favorite songs of the 80's. It has a certain memory attached to it for me.

I wanted to know if anyone else loved their stuff?

I was just listening to "Can You Feel the Beat" and "Take You Home." They are two of my all time favorite songs. There was a specific sound during that era. Full Force produced Lisa Lisa I believe, as well as Samantha Fox. Both had a string of hits during this time.

I know in the last few years, Black Eyed Peas sampled "Take You Home" and it was pretty good and then a group called Nina Skkye sampled "Can You Feel the Beat" in one of their songs.

I had the Spanish Fly album on wax...good stuff.

awesome music!

several groups have used the "i wonder if i take you home" bit in their songs but nothing touches lisa lisa's version.

nina skye twins (they WERE twins right?) did that crappy song, but i do love the part where they say 'can you feel the beat? can you, can you feel the beat within my heart...' it was the best part of the song. [Smile]

my favorite is HEAD TO TOE.. with the crashing beat. darn it, now i have to pull the cd out, i haven't listened to her in a loooong time.
